Tens of Thousands March in Argentina to Defend Unborn Life and Call for Repeal of Abortion Law

The 10th edition of the March for Life in Argentina brought together numerous protesters in Buenos Aires and other major cities across the country, advocating for the rights of unborn children and demanding the repeal of the abortion law.

The non-partisan and non-denominational demonstration featured slogans such as “Yes to life” and “We defend the most vulnerable.” Participants included representatives from various pro-life groups, and the event was characterized as a family-friendly gathering with attendees of all ages.

In Buenos Aires, the march began at Plaza Italia and proceeded to Plaza Rubén Darío, where a stage was set up with speakers from pro-life organizations and officials. Similar rallies took place in other cities, including Mendoza, Salta, and Resistencia.

Pro-life advocates emphasized the importance of protecting unborn life, with one official stating, “Without life, there is no freedom, no rights, no future.” Another speaker noted that defending the unborn should not be a divisive issue, but rather a fundamental human and ethical commitment.

The marches also highlighted the need for holistic care for pregnant women and their families, as well as the importance of having legislators who defend the right to life.

The Argentine government, through its official X account, expressed support for the Day of the Unborn Child, calling for the defense of human life from conception and reaffirming that “life always prevails over death.”
