Inquiry is a trait that is always hidden within the human consciousness. The quest for what ends up getting somewhere. As each of us joyfully prepares for the day of Christ’s birth, the first quest that runs through our minds is the glorious journey of Mary and Joseph in search of a place for the Lord of the worlds to be born, and the wisdom of the shepherds in search of infant’s flock.
Have you and I been successful in our quest for stability? Let’s go back a little searching for a stable. God is the Lord of the world, when He became one of us to be born as human being, we chose a stable that was a great part of simplicity. The stable where the Son of God was born became a cathedral of faith as part of history and faith. Cattle sheds can still be seen today, but there are cattle stables all over the world that do not have baby Jesus.
Despite the darkness and the crisis, the three shepherds hurried to see God, and the three wise men hurried to meet Messiah… Although God was one of us, when God became one of us, the Lord chose a stable full of simplicity.
