What Happens when we Pray with Gratitude

Prayer is a conversation between God and man. Often we say this definition taught by the teachers in the catechism classes without making any mistakes. But how is our prayer? Do we hear God speak or what God’s voice is?

We often pray, we speak to God. When asked what it is, then it can be said as a long list of our needs that come to mind. This is often what happens in our prayers. Prayers are reduced to a mere means of expressing our needs to God. But have we ever thanked God for the blessings He has given us? If not, you can start that habit today. Because many things happen when we say thank you and pray.

1. Those who honor God, will be honored by Him

When we pray with gratitude, we are thankfully remembering the God who gave us the blessing. It is our expression of honoring God. God will accept anyone who believes and accepts God as everything in his life. That way more blessings will flow to that person and their family.

2. Recognizes the Blessings God Gives

It is imperative to thank God even if nothing special happens in your life today; you are alive today because of your blessing. Realize that you can breathe, get the food you need, and return home safely on your journey only with God’s permission. In this world, it’s probably all bigger than you want. So remember them and thank God.

3. Life will be Positive

Life becomes more positive when you start saying thank you and praying. Instead of trying to recover, they wallow in their sadness and thus, experience more failure.

4. We can also Thank and Pray for the Blessings we Receive

We should thank and pray for the fulfillment of what we desire to receive in the future. It will strengthen our faith and lead us to the fulfillment of our desires.

So let’s stop praying. Let us begin by thanking and praying for the small blessings we have received in our lives.
