Two Christians were killed and dozens were abducted in an attack on a church service on Sunday, 31 October, various news agencies reported. The attack was reportedly perpetrated by militant Fulani Herdsmen, who ambushed the Baptist service in Kakau Daji village, Southern Kaduna state.
“Two Christians were killed in the church during the morning worship service, and many others were taken away at gunpoint by the armed Fulani herdsmen,” Ishaya Jangado, president of the Kaduna Baptist Convention, said in a text message to Morning Star News. Fulani herdsmen had killed four Christians and injured three others in Jankasa village on 25 October. The Nigerian Church laments the situation and criticizes the government for not taking any action against the terrorists.
