Spider-Man is a character who has a great ability to escape from dangerous situations. Many people like the character because of his ability. There was a saint-like this. A saint who survived those who stood against him with God’s special protection. Saint Felix was the man who was especially taken care of by God. He is also known as the protector of spiders.
St. Felix was a saint who lived in the third century. God had a special provision for him who tried to live closest to God. He was protected by God even though he had fallen into the realm of sin. He was a man who miraculously escaped from many tragic circumstances.
He had many enemies who obeyed the laws of Christ. Once they caught him and put him in front of another statue and told him to worship it. An enraged Felix crashed into the statue and it shattered. He often suffered unbearable physical pain from his enemies who came in front of him. For this reason alone, many fled without coming before the saint.
The saint was once imprisoned by a few pagans. But from that moment on they began to feel excruciating pain in their hands. They were in pain and begged him to help them. “Confess that Christ is God,” he demanded. When they said this, the pain in their hands was gone and they ran away.
He was preaching one day, and his enemies sought him out. When he was about to be found by his enemies, he unexpectedly slipped and fell. Knowing the presence of the enemy, the saint hid in the same place. But they kept looking. At this time, by the command of God, a number of spiders arrived and tied a spider web so thick that no one could enter the place where he was hiding. The enemy could not enter the hideout because it was a spider web. They went back. This is the example God gives us of how He can be protected and take care of those who are very close to him.
