The Pope of Mercy; Novena is Launched in Honour of Saint John Paul II

Novena is launched in honour of Pope St. John Paul II will take place October 13 to 21 in precedence of the feast day of the Pontiff. The Novena is organized by Habla  Mundo, a virtual diffusion project of Divine Mercy in Spanish. It will be held after the prayer in the Hour of Mercy and the chaplet where hundreds of faithful pray daily for Speak to the World.

“The novena consists of reflections, prayers and catechesis that will present the figure of Saint John Paul II in his very close connection with the devotion to Divine Mercy,” explains Fr. Mauro Carlorosi, one of the promoters of this initiative. Saint John Paul II consecrated the World to Divine Mercy on August 17, 2002. He was also one who instituted the second Sunday of Easter as Sunday of Divine Mercy, an explicit request of Jesus through the saint on April 2, 2000.
