The Catholic Church has used the liturgical colours in Holy Week with greater importance. are used. In this article, we explain what they are and why they are used in the main celebrations.
1. White Color
The General Instruction of the Roman Missal indicates that white is used in the offices and in the Masses of the Easter Season. It is also used in celebrations of the Lord other than his Passion of him.

The purple color is used in the Lenten season during the preparation for Holy Week. Fr. Saunders said that this color represents a “sign of penance, sacrifice, preparation” for the Lenten season.
According to the General Instruction of the Roman Missal, “on the most solemn days festive or more noble sacred vestments may be worn, even if they are not the color of the day.”
