Saint Joseph, the patron of the Universal Church and family, is the perfect patron and mediator of all things. Six things make him a perfect mediator.
Joseph was Righteous: he lived a godly divine life and lived according to the word of God.
He was Faithful: he was always ready to work from within the mysteries of God.
He was Brave: he was ready to go beyond the customs of his race and a tribe according to the will of God. He was generous: he generously met the needs of Mary and Jesus.
Joseph was Wise: Joseph realized that God’s mind and ways are not ours and is always trustworthy.
He was Merciful: he experienced God’s mercy and care in his own life and he colored other lives with kindness and compassion.
Joseph’s righteous life led him to faithfulness. Loyalty made him brave. Courage allowed him to act with generosity. Generosity brought him up in wisdom. This divine wisdom taught him kindness, he possesses these qualities, Joseph becomes a perfect mediator of all our petitions and interpretations.
