Pope Leo XIV has commended FADICA-Catholic Philanthropy Network on its 50th anniversary, encouraging the organization to continue its “worthy mission” of helping those most in need. In a message to FADICA’s President and CEO, Alexia Kelley, the Pope expressed gratitude for the network’s support of Vatican Dicasteries and Catholic initiatives worldwide.
The Pope highlighted that FADICA’s work, which includes promoting social justice, strengthening Catholic education, defending human dignity, and caring for the vulnerable, is a manifestation of divine charity. He urged members to follow the example of the Good Samaritan, emphasizing that helping those in need is a reflection of God’s love. Pope Leo XIV expressed hope that FADICA’s work would inspire others to find Jesus in their service to those in need.
