This is not the first time he has chosen to lead the Angelus prayer from his private chapel instead of St. Peter’s Square.
Pope Francis has a busy schedule ahead, with several important events planned for next week. On December 24, he will open the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica to mark the beginning of the Jubilee 2025, followed by the Mass of the Nativity in the evening. On Christmas Day, 25 December, he will deliver his Urbi et Orbi message, and on 26 December, he plans to open the Holy Door at the Roman prison of Rebibbia.
