“One million children praying the Rosary” that will take place on Tuesday, 18 October, is highlighted by Pope Francis expressing that “some of us join them” for peace in the world.
“Next Tuesday, October 18, the Aid to the Church in Need foundation promotes the initiative ‘A million children pray the Rosary for peace in the world’. Thank you to all the boys and girls who participated! We join them and entrust to the intercession of the Virgin the martyred Ukrainian people and the other populations that suffer from war and all forms of violence and poverty”, said the Holy Father.
This campaign began in 2005 in a hermitage in Caracas (Venezuela), where the participants recalled that Padre Pio said that “when a million children pray the Rosary, the world will change.”
Last year also conducted the same prayer day for the peace of the world.
