Pope Francis has invited Catholics worldwide to pray the Rosary every day throughout October, emphasizing the need for peace and unity.
The Holy Father encouraged the faithful to entrust suffering nations, particularly Ukraine, Palestine, Israel, Myanmar, and Sudan, to Mary’s care, seeking her intercession to silence “the noise of weapons that cause death.”
The Catholic Church dedicates October to the Holy Rosary, a tradition initiated by Pope Gregory XIII in 1573. Pope Francis will lead the recitation of the Holy Rosary for peace on October 6 at the Roman Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore.
“Let us abandon ourselves confidently into the hands of Mary… May she lead you to her Son Jesus,” said Pope Francis.
Pope Francis’ appeal encourages Catholics to seek solace in prayer and unite in their quest for peace and unity.
