Pope Francis asked us not to stop praying for Ukraine and get used to the tragic reality of the war.
After leading the Angelus prayer this Sunday, June 12, the Holy Father pointed out that “thoughts for the people of Ukraine, afflicted by war, are always alive in my heart”.
In this line, Pope Francis urged “that the passage of time does not cool our pain and our concern for these martyred people”.
“Please, let’s not get used to this tragic reality! Let us always keep her in our hearts! Let us pray and fight for peace!” the Pope asked.
