Pope Francis insisted on highlighting the dignity of work. The dignity cannot be replaced by the ‘provisional help’ or people cannot live on subsidies, said Pope. The Pontiff was greeting the participants in the Colloquium of the Foundation Institute for Business Development of Argentina through the video message.
“What gives dignity is work. He who does not have a job, feels that something is missing, he lacks that dignity that work properly gives, that anoints with dignity,” the Pope emphasized. The Pope said that some have told him about living an easy life without effort, that the Pope despises the culture of work. The Pontiff said by aiming the efforts and investment into the family is greater than any other backups. So that is why work beyond fatigue and difficulties, is the path to maturation, to the fulfillment of the person, which gives wings to the best dreams, the Pope concluded.
