Pope Francis remains in a stable condition at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital, where he has been receiving treatment since 14 February. According to the Holy See Press Office, a chest X-ray performed on 11 March confirmed improvements in his condition.
The Pope continues to receive high-flow oxygen therapy during the day and non-invasive mechanical ventilation at night. He has also been participating in spiritual exercises via video link with the Vatican, receiving the Eucharist, and dedicating time to prayer.
Physical and respiratory therapy are ongoing, and the Pope has been resting and continuing with his treatment plan. The Holy See Press Office described his overall medical picture as “complex” but noted that his condition has remained stable.
