Pope Francis: God Always Finds a Way to Make Himself Present in Our Lives

Pope Francis recalled that “God always finds a way to be present in our lives, even when we feel that he is far away or we feel abandoned. This is our strength ”. This was indicated by the Holy Father in an interview with the Italian magazine.

The Pope addressed the issue of pain and death, noting that sometimes “speeches, instead of serving as help or comfort, cause even more suffering”, which encouraged staying close to people in times of trial.

The Holy Father invited people who suffer not to fall into the temptation to isolate themselves, because “the more we suffer, the more we feel that we also need a Cyrenean to help us carry our cross.”

“God always finds a way to be present in our lives, even when we feel that he is far away or we feel abandoned. This is our strength. And even if we don’t know it, Easter is already at work in that darkness. Only with time do we realize that there is a hidden light even in the deepest darkness. While we wait to realize this, we can only continue to help each other, ”the Pope said.
