Pope Francis Condemns Gaza War, Urges Peace and Conscience in US Elections

“The war in Gaza is too much!” the Pope exclaimed, emphasizing the urgent need for peaceful solutions.

When questioned about the upcoming US elections, Pope Francis cautioned American Catholics to exercise their conscience in choosing between candidates, without explicitly endorsing or rejecting either Joe Biden’s running mate Kamala Harris or Donald Trump.

The Pope reiterated his stance against abortion and migrant rejection, stressing the importance of moral values in political decision-making.

Regarding China, Pope Francis expressed optimism, describing the country as “a promise and hope for the Church.” He welcomed the Vatican’s agreement with China, fostering improved relations and cooperation.
