Despite being hospitalized, Pope Francis sent a telegram to the Archbishop of Bahía Blanca, Monsignor Carlos Azpiroz Costa, offering his fervent prayers for the eternal rest of the deceased and spiritual closeness to the affected population.
The Argentine Episcopal Conference and the Archbishop of Bahía Blanca have also issued statements of solidarity, praying for comfort, strength, and rebuilding efforts. Caritas Argentina has launched a campaign to address the emergency, inviting donations to support those who have lost everything.
