Oh divine Heart of my beloved Jesus, in whom the Holy Trinity deposited immense treasures of heavenly graces! Grant me a heart similar to yourself, and the grace that I ask of you in this novena, if it is for the greater glory of God, your sacred worship and the good of my soul. Amen.
First day Prayer: Correct and banish the dryness and lukewarmness of our hearts
Oh most sacred and mellifluous Heart of Jesus, who, with most fervent desires and most burning love, you wish to correct and banish the dryness and lukewarmness of our hearts! Inflame and consume the wickedness and imperfections of mine, so that it burns in your love. Give me the grace to compensate the injuries and ingratitudes done against you, oh most loving Heart!, and the one that I ask of you in this novena, if it is for the greater glory of God, your worship and good of my soul.

O Eternal Father! Through the Heart of Jesus, my life, my truth and my path, I come to Your Majesty; through this adorable Heart, I adore you for all men who do not adore you; I love you for all those who do not love you; I know you for all those who, voluntarily blind, do not want to meet you. Through this most divine Heart I wish to satisfy Your Majesty all the obligations that all men have for you; I offer you all the souls redeemed with the precious blood of your divine Son, and I humbly ask you for the conversion of all through the same soft Heart. Do not allow my beloved Jesus to be ignored by them any longer; make them live for Jesus, who died for all of them. I also present to Your Majesty, on this most holy Heart, your servants, my friends, and I ask you to fill them with his spirit, so that, being their protector the same deific Heart, they deserve to be with you forever. Amen.
