More than 76,000 children in Myanmar are forced to flee their homes due to the military coup from 1 February. The nationwide protest and attacks happen there which is now causing a high amount of massacre and death. The Covid- 19 pandemic has made the state of the country more delicate and more than 1150 people died due to the military oppressions.
It is said that most of the displaced children have sought the safety of jungles, without proper shelter and basic needs. Many families do not have adequate food supplies and pregnant mothers are helpless about their babies’ safety and health under the pathetic conditions. Since the coup more than two lakh people have been displaced across the country. The country is falling to the most crucial situation in its all sense. Earlier this year, the World Food Programme of the UN is estimated that around 6.2 million children could go hungry in the coming months. Now the people are in a severe crisis and now the country is facing the worst level of poverty in 20 years.
