The pope made the remarks in a congratulatory message Friday (08/10/21) on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the German language weekly edition of L’Osservatore Romano. Announcing that this golden jubilee is a joyous one, the Pope assures his prayer assistance to those working and readers to prepare the German language version.
The pope recalls that for half a century this weekly edition has been imparting to readers with foresight what is happening in Rome and in the universal church, and that the words of Peter’s successor are being recorded and are making a rich cultural contribution.
