Let Mothers Be Happy about their Smart Kids

Parents play a very important role in bringing up their children. However, studies show that the behaviour and emotions of the mothers affect the growth and character formation of children more than those of fathers. Experts in this field also say that if mothers are happy and smart, their children will grow up to be twice as smart. But very often without realizing this possibility, many mothers fail to behave with restraint even with their children due to their many household-works, interruptions and pressures at work. Especially breastfeeding mothers should have a completely peaceful environment.

The fact that mothers often face various questions from society, for no reason, also puts pressure on the mental state of the mother. The distress caused by others who dare to judge the care of the children, feeding and handling them before their eyes is immense. Try to convince yourself that it is your responsibility and decision to take care of your child. Avoid depending on the words of other people.

Stay away from people who are always judgmental and prejudiced. Be part of a group of moms who stand by you always, answer parenting questions, and support each other. Open up and interact with like-minded people. Through this, mothers can relax and enjoy themselves to some extent.

Don’t be a Perfectionist

To raise a baby, along with being a mother, you have to be a perfect woman; everything should be done promptly and start blowing away false notions. Continue as you are. Make healthy changes in your life, if necessary. Without the title ‘a perfect mom’, sitting day in and day out, doing and thinking about the baby, does no good, except that it takes away your quality time with the baby. So don’t strive for the title a ‘Good Mother’. Recognize that raising a child is a shared responsibility of parents.

Don’t Forget Your Things

You shouldn’t try to raise your baby, doing everything for it and forgetting all your interests and needs. A mother should give due importance to her likes and joys, along with those of the baby. Love yourself too, the child who grows up experiencing it will grow up to be a child with self-confidence and self-respect. If you put aside all your personal needs and spend all your time with the children, you will certainly feel a sense of loss when the children grow up.

A Little Singing and Dancing

Cooking good food for the children, feeding them, doing other chores for them, teaching them etc. should not be considered as part of a mother’s daily routine. Taking a break from work, talking with your baby, going for a walk, or dancing will increase the bond between the mother and the baby. If the mother understands that she is happy through such things, the child will also be happy. Later, he/she will joyfully look at the world around him.
