The death toll from the devastating landslide in Kerala is likely to exceed 300, with the state government confirming that all surviving victims have been rescued.
The recovery efforts have been challenging, with rescue workers retrieving 92 body parts from the Chaliyar River in Malappuram’s Nilambur region. Post-mortems have been conducted on 252 bodies and body parts, with only 98 bodies identified so far.
