‘I Feel Bad for My Country’: Haitian Priest Saddens on the Kidnapping of Missionaries 

Reginald Jean-Mary, parish priest of the Catholic Mission Notre Dame D’Haiti saddened by the kidnapping of 17 missionaries five days ago.

“In the name of my people, I would like to ask for your forgiveness, because I feel bad seeing the injustice that is happening in my country. The Haitian people are not bad, we are very kind people of faith, who are grateful when someone comes from outside to help us. I would like to apologize to these families and assure them that we are praying for them, “said the Catholic priest.The abducted missionaries are part of Christian Aid Ministries based in Ohio, US. The kidnappers demanded ransom for the safe release of the missionaries.
