The saints have set many examples for us to establish the kingdom of God on earth. They have never been inactive. They never gave up in prayer. After the Annunciation, the Blessed Mother goes straight to serve Elizabeth. They do God’s will when they are busy, without daydreaming or laziness. If the hearts of the saints are in heaven, their feet are planted in the earth. Even though life was meditative, there was extraordinary practicality in all of their lives. Therefore, they served God by fulfilling their duties and responsibilities accurately.
In the modern world, we face many challenges when it comes to the public ministry for God. When someone goes down for Him, there will be a lot of people who will speak critically and say bad things. All the saints, including Mother Teresa, received similar persecutions, accusations and accusations. But keep in mind that the one who examines our actions is not a measure of human praise or contempt. Rather, we need to understand that the kingdom of God and holiness are the abode of men and women who are not afraid to act.
We need to reach out our hands to others to become the salt of the earth. You have no risk when you put your hands in your pockets. But you are working for the Kingdom of God every moment of your life when you reach out to others in their needs. So do not forget that what we undertake is a great testimony to the lives of those around us. We are His tools. Therefore, He will ask us to do as much as we obey Him. Therefore, we must pay special attention to be engaged in prayer. May we have the example of love and service to establish the kingdom of heaven on earth.
