Being a good parent requires a lot of energy and motivation. Children’s poor performance in school often discourages parents from encouraging them. Children should be encouraged to say that they can rise up without blaming them for their failure. For that, parents need to adopt a positive attitude.
Appreciate the Kids
Many parents prefer to point out only the mistakes their children make rather than appreciate their efforts. Some children will accept this as a challenge and try to correct it. But many children are discouraged by the thought that whatever they do will not succeed.
Congratulations should never be just empty words. Parents who stick with whatever their children do are destroying the very nature of the children. We need a generation rooted in values. Therefore, parents should pay attention to both praise and correction.
Care must be taken when setting boundaries for children
Parents often feel that their children’s performance should be in line with their parents’ wishes for them. Accepting children as they are will help them grow, learn how to rely on their own strengths, and develop confidence and self-esteem.
This is not an incentive to be competitive in any way. Lack of confidence often hides children behind the mask of hostility and arrogance. When children’s personal desires and abilities are not taken into account, it can lead to severe depression. But encouragement comforts them and leads them to grow on their own.
