Four Ways to Grow in Jesus During Lent

Lent is a time of striving to grow in prayer and spirituality in line with the passion of Christ. The days we are more humble and by our small acts of renunciation and fasting and atone for past sins. In short, these are the days of striving to grow into holiness. Here are some tips to help you grow in the experience of God these days …

1. Meditate on the Way of the Cross

The Way of the Cross, which meditates specifically on the passion of our Lord, is certainly one of the most spiritually inspiring moments of these days. Surely every Christian who stands by Him in the sufferings of life can easily turn our thorns into flowers when we meditate on the sufferings He endured. When the wounds of humiliation inflicted on life are added to His cross and suffering, surely we will receive a great invitation to the resurrection of the Spirit and to heaven.

2. Spiritual Bliss through the Rosary

As we meditate on the mysteries of Jesus’ life with the Blessed Mother, we join in the greatest fellowship of the Church. Since the rosary has the uniqueness of being able to pray from anywhere at any time, we have no time limit for this pleasure. Therefore, it is one of the most beautiful forms of worship during Lent.

3. Worship of Divine Mercy

Another way to achieve complete bliss in Lent is to worship the Divine Mercy for at least half an hour. The love that Jesus Christ showed us is fulfilled through the Divine Mercy. So try to be with someone who wants to be with us for a while. Our weaknesses can give him in these hours to sanctify our lives and fill us with spirituality.

4. Read the Holy Scriptures

During this Lent, it is advisable to take a short journey carefully through the scriptures that document the answers and solutions to all the problems in life. The joy of the special protection and assurance that the Bible gives us is heartwarming. His words are always near to those of us who are close to him. When we have the audio Bible and the e-Bible in our hands, we need to pay special attention to incorporating the blessings and joy that the Bible gives into our lives.
