Follow God’s Plan for Your Life

Have you ever thought about a written script given by God? What if, when we were born, we came with an instruction manual that He wrote out for us? A manual that would outline what we should do to follow His plan for our lives?

Mostly life can be so confusing and hard that it can be difficult to understand what God needs for us over the noise of the world and the sounds of all the obligations pulling at us. And the truth is, God knows what He wants for us and is in control of our plans. He has the blueprint for our lives. He is guiding us and putting seeds in our hearts and, like a gardener, He waters the seeds He plants within our hearts. God sees you, He hears you, and He answers your prayers.

Romans 5:3-5 shows us that suffering produces perseverance and character, which leads to hope that allows God to pour into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.

Here are a few ways to follow God’s plan in your life.

  1. Prayer is the Best Way Always

Prayer is the best way to know that you are following God’s plan for your life. Take time each day to meditate and be with God. Definitely, He will reveal his plan to you. If you entrust each area of your life to God, then He will bless it and you will be able to work through it with confidence.

  1. Read the Holy Scriptures

Take just a few moments each day to read the Word of God and you will get a better understanding of the calling God has put in your life, and it will allow you to better live out the life He desires for you.

  1. Follow His Revelations

Allow God to guide your steps. Often He inspires your heart. Believe that He will direct you and make known to you if there is a dream that He has placed upon your heart. He will help you achieve it, and He will be glorified in the process.

  1. Godly Community

When you have friends around you that encourage you in your walk with the Lord it is always great and rich. Seek out a community at church that will hold you accountable and help you make godly decisions.

  1. Obey the Truth

Read and know the Bible and follow the way He asks you to live. Live the commandments and intentionally be a model for what a follower of Christ should be.

Being a mature person in the modern age calls for a set of challenges and pressure; but God strengthens us through our hardships just like He enabled Moses when he was entrusted with a great task.
