Five Ways to Turn Morning Travels into Moments of Experiencing God

For many, life is a journey from home to the office and back home. In the meanwhile, a day somehow passes. Many people are not able to sit still or do their own thing in a busy life. What would be the state of their spiritual life?

Do not worry. There are times in life when you fall short in the rush. Especially the time of the morning commute to the office. If this time is used effectively, it will become a blessed moment of receiving all the blessings needed for that day from God. Here are five ways to help:

1. Receive Inspirational Material from Catholic Sites

The journey to the office in the morning is a journey with a little rest after all our work. We have worries about what to do that day but we can say goodbye to them for the time being. Excerpts of preaching, worship and inspiring life can be found on YouTube and elsewhere and listen to it, you can feel the positivity throughout the day.

2. Audio Bible can be Downloaded on the Phone

It’s good to have the audio version of the Bible on your phone. When we begin by listening to the word of God here, God will take over our whole day. The Bible should not be heard with a lot of restless minds. The audio Scriptures must be heard in the hope that God will do everything in the midst of troubles.

3. Let’s Recite the Rosary

The rosary is a weapon that strengthens our spiritual life. So try to keep the rosary in your hand and pray during the journey. It will help us to develop a greater sense of trust in God.  At the same time, as you go through each of the Mysteries, you can submit the day’s assignments, responsibilities and crises to Jesus through your  Mother Mary.

4. Listen to Devotional Songs

It is good to keep a collection of good devotional songs on our phones. Instead of listening to movie songs in the mornings, listening to spiritual songs will help you to feel the presence of God and to calm down by surrendering your mind completely to God. Good songs have the ability to penetrate and change our minds. So devotional songs can give hope in our crises and worries.

5. Be Calm

Try to handle the morning times more calmly. Morning is the time to gather the necessary energy and vitality for a whole day. So you can travel quietly away from all the worries and noises.
