There are thousands of thoughts that pass through our minds day by day. There may be good ones. There might be bad or evil thoughts. They are just like the clouds blown about by fancy, taking various shapes. God is not so hard as to judge us for our thoughts; He will try us by what we have done, not by what we have dreamed. No garden is without weeds; there are tares in every cornfield. Evil thoughts must enter the mind, and they do no harm so long as they are not admitted into the heart. There is no sin in the bad thoughts coming, but the sin begins when they are allowed to settle and to fly-blow the heart. If you worry about your evil thoughts, meditate on these verses from the Bible to fight against the evil thoughts.
