We all go through the dark tunnel of fear at some point in time. Fear does not consider and differentiate religion, race, or gender. It haunts everyone of us at some point in life. The only choice that we were given during those times is to go through it and come out of it. At the end of this message we would like to pray along with you.

When The Fear Enters Our Life?

When we feel lonely and insecure the fear can easily overcome us. Loneliness can happen to us even when we are surrounded by a crowd of people very close to us.

Fear, not only enters our life through sickness, but Loss of job, debt, life-changing moments such as loss of loved ones, can lead to fear about the future. Some of us get fear when our life is absolutely normal. The fear is conceived in their thoughts even when their external circumstances are normal.

How Can We Go Through Fear And Come Out?

During the past year, many have gone through severe financial stress. Families were separated. The pandemic has made the fear of unexpected death and lonliness of many people. Many lost their loved ones. The waves of the pandemic are kept coming in some of the countries. As we continue our life in an ever-changing world, we need an unchanging anchor that holds our life. Well, you can ask what can be that anchor that remains constant all through our life. It’s no one but our dear Lord, who created you and me. Jesus said, “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.” Jesus Christ is our anchor. You are not alone in the current situation. He will never let us down. The dark clouds can come over lives. The storm may surround us. But Jesus will hold our life-ship even though the waves rise over us.

Do Not Be Afraid – We Have An Anchor

Lift your eyes towards God and invite Jesus into your life. He will be your achor. You might be aware of Jesus. You might have trusted Him in the past. But make Him the anchor of your life today. The God who created you knows how to take you through the storms. He will hold your hands and walk with you. Put your trust in him. God says, “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” This is a call from our Lord. He is asking us not to fear and not to be discouraged. He is willing to hold us with His powerful and mighty hands. What a powerful anchor we have in our life.
