Little Therese of Lisieux can be described as a ‘huge powerhouse’. She lived on this earth for only 23 years. But in this short span of her life the Church declared her a ‘Doctor of the Church’. It is also a special privilege that sets her apart from other saints.
This Saint of little things has longed to go to heaven from her young age. So she wanted everyone to know, even if she made some small mistakes. Once, she tore off a piece of paper that was once pasted on the wall. She immediately wanted to tell her father. She was extremely anxious. By the time his father returned four hours later, everyone had forgotten about the matter. But she immediately went to her sister and asked her to tell him that she had torn the paper. She was forced to accept her punishment. This was what she adopted as her biggest ploy. Little Therese was adopted even if she had some problems in her mind, it was the way to tell it to others and take the necessary suggestions.
When our minds are filled with worries and anxieties, we can share them with God, faithful friends and parents, as well as with Little Therese. Sometimes, even in small things, this saint will take away all our great worries and tensions. So when you meet up with tensions and worries, do not forget to share with Therese of Lisieux. She will take it as a huge matter and make it for us a little affair.
