Christ the King

The concept of a king in front of the world is a person who enjoys all kinds of comforts and luxuries; someone who enjoys life very much. But Christ the King is defeated, despised and wounded in the eyes of the world. We celebrate the feast of that king as the feast of kingship.

Many people in the world today experience a great deal of isolation and loss in life. Sometimes we even think that no one can afford it. Christ the King will give us the answer to all the ups and downs of life. Because the wounded and the suffering are called to the kingdom of Christ to the King of Suffering.

Christ is not only the King of the Victorious; He is also the King of the Defeated
One of the thoughts that must fill our minds on the Feast of the Kings is what the glory of King Christ was like. Christ received the cross where he was to be glorified. Christ was mocked where he should have been honored. Instead of and bowing down, Christ received contempt. He had no angels or servants to accompany him. Christ the King was nothing before the world.
He is the King who stands with the defeated and the helpless. The ridiculously given label is “King of the Jews”. Christ was a defeated one in every way in the eyes of the world.
Christ is the Answer to the Lost
Christ redeemed each of us by his sacrifice on the cross. Christ prayed for mankind even as they went through suffering and pain. Who but Christ can stand with those who have failed in life?
The failures and shortcomings of our lives bring us closer to Him. We who are built in Christ are all part of His kingdom. Evil dominates us when we are in darkness. Then we are slaves to evil. We will be enlightened when Christ rules over us. Let us also walk in the light of Christ.
