Pope Francis encouraged Catholics to be more courageous to spread hope in the society. The Covid-19 crisis has to be faced by the people more effectively, hence transmitting hope is vital in this scenario, the Pope reminded.
“We cannot resign ourselves and stare from the window, we cannot remain indifferent or apathetic without taking responsibility for others and for society. We are called to be the yeast that leaven the dough. It is even more necessary in the context of the crisis generated by COVID, a health and social crisis. So to get out of that crisis Catholics must also be more courageous,” said the Pope. The Holy Father was greeting the participants of the Social Week of Italian Catholics through a video message.
