Bible Verses for Working and its Smooth Atmosphere 

‘Work’ is a very important aspect to God which indicates that it is a vital part of life and faith. “Work” and “toil” are the two words mentioned over 480 times in the Bible. So that we can consider our work as an important aspect of our lives.

Here are some Bible verses that contain God’s wisdom and perspective on our work, and how we should conduct ourselves while performing our work.

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” – Colossians 3:23-24

Application: Look for ways to serve your coworkers by thinking of their needs more and your own less. Provide help with a project, buy someone a cup of coffee, or offer a listening ear or a word of encouragement.
