Pope Francis has asked the help of Saint Therese of Child Jesus for help to reach holiness. The Pope made the remarks on the occasion of the upcoming feast day of Little Therese of Lisieux. The Pontiff added that the saint had reached the path of holiness by walking the pavements of simplicity during her very short span of life.
Pope pointed out the lessons he had learned from the life of Saint Therese. Charity, courage to believe, self-sacrifice for love, serenity, and the fight against the temptation in connection with the life of the saint was described by the Pope. He stressed that the saint invites us to practice the small path of love. Pope was greeting the general audience at St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican on Wednesday.
