A Guide for Teens to Find Friends

Friendship is an important factor influencing a child’s life and behavior after home and even personality. Friends have the power and influence to lead a person to good and to evil. This is where the importance and relevance of finding good friendships lies.

Today, most children stay away from home for study and other activities. In today’s world, it’s very important for Christian children to find friends who share their faith. When they are friends of the same faith, they can help one another in spiritual growth. Now here are some ways to find Catholic friends and make deep friendships with them …

1. Let’s Search

There are two levels where believing children come together. Physical head and virtual head. While the first level is friendships formed through prayer, church, prayer groups, pilgrimages, and Christian music nights, the second level resides on social media. It is the friendship of those who witness the Christian faith along with social media. With these two levels, one can find people of the good Catholic faith.

2. Together through Opportunities

Once people of the same faith are introduced, the next step is to organize prayer groups and discussions. It is not mandatory for everyone who is first acquainted with the prayer groups to attend. Such groups are meant to pray, to nurture others in prayer, and to deepen in holy friendship. Everyone should be able to help, stand by and support those in need. In doing so, children will grow into a community of the Messiah. When they have a few good friends to share their problems and difficulties with, they will not go after anything else that provides temporary comfort, for sure.

3. Let us Pray Together

There is no power other than prayer together. When you get it from friendships while learning this, those friendships will be selfless and last a long time. Friendship is always a force to be reckoned with when it comes to doing something new. And friends of the Catholic faith can pray and be with you when a problem arises, take you to church, and remind you to receive the sacraments properly. May children be able to grow in deep faith and hold on to their mistakes.
