The Way of the Cross is a prayer that we reverently offer during Lent. We commemorate and meditate on the important events of Jesus’ torture and death with the 14 stations. Here are the fourteen blessings that Jesus promises to those who piously meditate and pray The Way of the Cross:
1. I will give you whatever blessing you faithfully ask for by leading the Way of the Cross.
2. Those who walk the path of the cross often will receive eternal salvation.
3. I will still be with them and will be especially helpful in the event of death.
4. No matter how great a person’s sin, they can receive mercy by praying the way of the cross. (Confession of sins is required.)
5. Those who constantly walk the path of the cross will always be glorified in heaven.
6. Those who pray reverently the way of the cross will be quickly freed from the place of purification.
7. I will bless them in every place of the way of the cross, and my blessing shall be with them forever.
8. I will save them from the temptations of the devil at the time of death and will weaken the power of Satan.
9. I will transform those who say this prayer lovingly into a living sacrament filled with my grace.
10. I will set my eyes on those who offer this prayer continually. He will still be with them to protect them.
11. As I am nailed to the cross, so I am to those who constantly walk in the way of the cross and honor me.
12. And I will give them grace that they may not turn away from me, and that they may not commit any deadly sin.
13. I will comfort them with my presence at the time of death and take them to heaven. Death will be a sweet experience for them.
14. My soul will be a protective shield and helper in their time of need.
