Padre Pio is a man who was known as a saint when he was alive. Many miracles had taken place around him while he was still alive. Many have revealed that he had a habit of talking regularly to his guardian angels and other angels.
One day a fellow priest, Padre Alessio, came to talk to Padre Pio. When he reached the room, Padre Pio asked, “Father, can you see that I’m too busy?” The priest was surprised because Padre Pio was just sitting in his chair. Then he said: “Do you not see these guardian angels going back and forth to give a message to my spiritual children ..?” Then he realized that Padre Pio was talking to the guardian angels.
Padre Pio prayed daily to his guardian angel. Below is a personal prayer he prepared for it. Although we may not see the guardian angel like Padre Pio, through this prayer we can also strive to develop a relationship with the angel who protects our souls from daily danger.
“Angel of God, I entrust myself completely into your hands. My heavenly Father entrusted a guardian angel to protect me. Protect me always from all spiritual and material dangers and enlighten my mind. Amen.”
