Christmas is the time to prepare for the birth of Jesus. Days of preparing for the birth of the Savior of the world who was born in the grass, changing our desires and worldly wishes.
These are the days of deepening in prayer and preparing for prayer. Let us sincerely pray that Jesus will come and be born in our hearts these days. Here is a prayer that can be said at home before Christmas:
‘Dear Father God, we are on a spiritual journey preparing for the birth of your son Jesus. Bless us with the virtue of your faithfulness on this journey. Enable us to run to your prince. Give us heavenly wisdom as we long to see Jesus, the Savior of the world. So lead us to the perfection of our friendship with Jesus. Keep us in the Trinity of the Son, Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
