The Pope will privately visit the Basilica of Santa Maria de Los Angeles in Assisi on Friday. There, the Holy Father will meet with the 500 poor people, spend time with them, and pray together. He will be accompanied in a procession to the basilica where they will remember some of the gestures of Saint Francis of Assisi.
On Sunday, November 14, the Pope will preside over a Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica at 10.00 am with the participation of two thousand poo people. The Vatican has decided to help the poor through various activities, including paying gas and electricity bills to 500 families in the Diocese of Rome who are experiencing financial difficulties and often go to charity centers and whose poverty has been exacerbated by Covid 0-19. Pope Francis invited all the dioceses of the world to establish similar activities and initiations according to their possibilities.
