Pope Francis has expressed his deep sorrow and spiritual closeness to the families of the victims of a devastating nightclub fire in Kocani, North Macedonia, which claimed the lives of at least 59 people and injured over 100.
In a telegram sent on his behalf by Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Pope assured his spiritual support and prayers for the families of the deceased, mostly young people, as well as his condolences to the injured.
