The tradition of celebrating the Solemnity of Corpus Christi in the cathedral of Rome once again appears on the papal agenda.
According to the confirmation given by the Vatican, the Mass will take place on 2 June, Sunday, in this emblematic Roman basilica at 5:00 p.m. local time.
Subsequently, the traditional procession will also take place towards the Basilica of Santa MarÃa la Mayor, where the Eucharistic Blessing will be given.
It has been 6 years since this important solemnity was not celebrated in the Basilica of Saint John Lateran for different reasons.
