If we doubt, we won’t expect to “receive anything from the Lord.” So, if we believe that God will grant guidance through our prayer, He will. If we don’t, He won’t. Hearing the guidance of the Spirit is a result of our faith. We cannot walk with God if we doubt, we can’t walk by the Spirit. If we trust, we will walk by the Spirit.
