God Encourages to Take a Vacation

Having a vacation is an important matter in life. Staying away from busy schedules can refresh the mind and body. If we want to work hard, we should be mentally and physically fit. Here are some Bible verses about having a vacation.

Mark 6:31 
And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat.

Mark 2:27
And he said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.

Genesis 2:2-3 
And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done. So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.

Luke 5:16 
But he would withdraw to desolate places and pray.

Exodus 20:8-11
