Prayers for Surgery and Recovery

Just before and during surgery for yourself or a loved one – can bring about many emotions. It leaves us feeling discomfort, anxious, or worried. And sitting in that discomfort, anxiety, or worry can feel like a never-ending amount of time. This stress can be decreased by talking to God during this time, which will be helpful – to give Him the burdens on our hearts and minds and do our best to trust His plan. Here are some Bible verses to talk to God and relax in this situation.

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
