Pope Francis has asked the help of Saint There’s Child Jesus for help to reach holiness. The Pope made the remarks on the occasion of the upcoming feast day of Little Theses of Lisieux. The Pontiff added that the saint had reached the path of holiness by walking the pavements of simplicity during her very short span of life.
Pope pointed out the lessons he had learned from the life of the Saint Therese. Charity, courage to believe, self sacrifice for love, serenity and the fight against the temptation in connection with the life of the saint were described by the Pope. He stressed that the saint invites us to practice the small path of love. Pope was greeting the general audience at St. Peter’s Square in Vatican on Wednesday.
