Pope Francis Asks Faithful to Accompany him in Prayer on his Trip to Bahrain

Pope Francis asked the faithful to join his Apostolic Trip to Bahrain through prayer which will take place from November 3 to 6.

Pope Francis reminded the faithful present in Saint Peter’s Square that on Thursday for the Angelus, November 3, he will start his trip to Bahrain, where he will remain until Sunday, November 6.

“It will be a trip under the banner of dialogue, in fact, I will participate in a Forum on the indispensable need for East and West to get closer for the good of human coexistence and I will have the opportunity to meet with religious representatives, especially Islamic ones”, he said next.

For this reason, the Holy Father asked all the faithful to accompany him with prayer, “so that each meeting and event may be a fruitful occasion to support, in the name of God, the cause of brotherhood and peace, that our time so desperately and urgently needed.”

In addition, the Pope greeted and thanked the King of Bahrain, the authorities “and all the people of the country, especially those who have worked for some time to prepare this visit.”

This is the 39th Apostolic Journey of Pope Francis and the first time that a Pontiff visits this country of the Persian Gulf.
