Three original manuscripts from the Vatican Apostolic Library are for the display at the Expo in Dubai. This is the first time that manuscripts from the Vatican Library have been exhibited outside. Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, President of the Pontifical Council for Culture, arrived in Dubai to inaugurate the exhibition. The Dubai Expo is the first fair in the world to be held in the Middle East. The UAE built multi- million dollar pavilions and a new metro station in preparation for the fair.
The exhibition also includes a video about the Vatican Library and some Swiss Guard uniforms.
