Pope Francis’s Health Improves, Mechanical Ventilation Discontinued

The Vatican Press Office has announced that Pope Francis’s clinical condition is improving, and he no longer requires mechanical ventilation. The update, released on 19 March, indicates that the Pope’s health is stabilising, and he is making progress in his recovery.

According to the latest medical report, the Pope’s need for high-flow oxygen therapy has decreased, and he is improving motor and respiratory physiotherapy. The infection is under control, and clinical test results are within normal limits. The Pope has no fever and remains stable.

The Vatican also reported that Pope Francis concelebrated Holy Mass on the Solemnity of St. Joseph, a significant milestone in his recovery.

The Pope was hospitalized on 14 February for treatment of bronchitis, which later developed into bilateral pneumonia. His condition was initially critical, but he has shown steady improvement in recent days.

The Vatican’s update has brought relief to Catholics around the world, who have been praying for the Pope’s recovery.
